    Summer Hiking in the Snow

It's June in Seattle and time for some summer time hiking. A short stroll up a mountain to Heather Lake brought us into plenty of snow under foot and a great view at the lake side.

    The leaves are changing

Being in the northern hemisphere for autumn (fall) is not always on my agenda. The cold wind starts to blow and it starts to get cold enough for frost to form. The upside is wathcing the colour of the leaves change, somehting you wont really see in Australia. The colurs are amazing and over the last couple weeks the trees have been changing from green to gold.

    Climbing to Lake Serene

Another Sunday in WA and time to go for a hike with my firends J and M.

This time I drove out to Goldbar to meet them as they had spent the night out in the woods in a cabin.

We climbed up to some gorgeous waterfalls in the shadow of Mt. Index.

After this short diversion we made our way up to the lake nestling in the mountain tops.

The colour of the water was just awesome!

How much? -Free filters, cash to halt xyz tide

I would love to see the budget breakdown on this. $100 Million on something that will not work, and has no real benefit anyway!  F F S

Wonder why xyz instead of the real word?

Because MS spaces disallows certain words in entries

    F F S again!!

    What a beautiful morning

This morning I went out for a speed boat ride on Sydney harbor.
It was early, the clouds were just starting to burn off, the water was calm and there was barely a breeze blowing. Totally magic!

    Morning Visitor

I am back in Australia now. Getting up this morning and sitting at my desk to check email I looked out of the window and saw a couple of beautiful visitors sitting on my window sill. I wasnt quick enough with the camera but they have been flying around outside the window for the last 10 minutes and I caught this snap of one of them.
